Tim Nedow

Canadian Shot Putter

Tim grew up in Brockville, Ontario where he participated in multiple track and field events in both elementary school and high school. In high school, Tim was a OFSAA champion which led him to compete at DePaul University. It was not until the second year of University when Tim focused on throwing. Tim loves a challenge and reaching new personal bests in the gym and within the shot-put world. Tim competed in the 2016 Rio Olympics where he placed 16th in the qualifying round. Over his athletic career he has also competed in many National and World Championships while continuously reaching new personal bests. In his spare time Tim follows his passion for computer game development and connects with other athletes to game with.
